CHEMICAL RESISTANCE of ARIFCO uPVC PIPES:
ARIFCO uPVC PIPES is unaffected by salt water, demineralised water,chlorinated or fluorinated water.ARIFCO uPVC PIPE is suitable for most strong acids,alkalies and aqueous solutions (except those which are strongly oxidising), straight chain hydrocarbons,fluorades, photograhic oils and fruit juices. However ARIFCO PIPE shoud not normally be used for aldehydes and ketones, ethers, esters, aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons.

General Information &Standardsof uPVC Pipes
1) Product Specification:
ARIFCO uPVC Plant produces uPVC Pipes in accordance with Saudi Arabian Standard (SAS 14-15/1396H), (DIN 8062), British Standard (BS 3505 – BS 3506) and ASTM D 1785.
2) Range of Production:
a) uPVC PIPES of BS standard production, range from 3/8 inch up-to 4 inches, in different wall thickness and pressure class.
b) uPVC PIPES of DIN and SAS production range from 16mm up-to-250mm for the time being. We planned to extend our range to produce pipes of size up-to 315mm outside diameter.
c) uPVC PIPES of ASTM standard production ,range from 1/2 inch up to 6 inches, in different wall thickness and pressure schedule.
3.Joint Type:
a) uPVC PIPES of BS standard are produced only in solvent joint type.
b) uPVC PIPES of DIN and SAS standard can be proposed in both types Solvent welded joint and rubber ring joints. Sizes of 16mm,50mm produced as solvent welded joint. Sizes above 50mm could be produced either solvent welded joints or rubber ring joint, according to the requirements of the customer.
4.Length
All uPVC PIPES according to different standard generally produced in 6 meters long. Other length may be supplied to special order.
5.Colour
ARIFCO uPVC PIPES are dark gray in colour and opaque.Other colours e.g. black,white,red brown are available on special request.
6.Marking
ARIFCO uPVC PIPES marked automatically during the process of production, each pipes stamped (ARIFCO-uPVC-date of production-size-wall thickness-pressute class).
